Best Item Build for Annie

Starting Items:

  • Doran’s Ring – Bonus AP, mana regeneration, and sustain.
  • Health Potion x2 – Helps survive poke in lane.

Core Build:

  1. Luden’s Tempest – Burst damage, mana sustain, and movement speed boost.
  2. Sorcerer’s Shoes – Magic penetration for more damage.
  3. Shadowflame – Extra burst against shielded enemies.
  4. Zhonya’s Hourglass – Essential for survivability and outplaying.
  5. Rabadon’s Deathcap – Huge power spike with massive AP.
  6. Void Staff – Deals with magic resist stacking enemies.

Situational Items:

  • Banshee’s Veil – If facing a lot of crowd control and burst mages.
  • Morellonomicon – Anti-heal against sustain-heavy champs.
  • Mejai’s Soulstealer – If you’re snowballing and feeling confident.

Gameplay Strategies: Burn, Stun, and Dominate!

Early Game (Levels 1-6):

  • Use Q (Disintegrate) to last hit minions and conserve mana.
  • Poke your opponent with Q when safe, and use your passive (Pyromania) to stun them.
  • At level 6, look for an all-in play with Flash + Tibbers (R) + W + Q to delete enemies.
  • Warding is key! Annie is immobile, so avoid ganks by placing vision around mid.

Mid Game (Levels 7-13):

  • Roam with Tibbers! After pushing your lane, look for ganks in bot or top.
  • Buy Zhonya’s Hourglass if facing assassins like Zed or Talon.
  • Engage in team fights by hiding in bushes and surprising enemies with Flash + Tibbers stun.
  • Always carry Control Wards to deny enemy vision and set up ambushes.

Late Game (Levels 14-18):

  • Annie becomes a teamfight monster—look for multi-man stuns with Tibbers.
  • Stay grouped with your team; enemies will try to pick you off.
  • Use Molten Shield (E) + Zhonya’s Hourglass to survive aggressive fights.
  • If enemies stack magic resist, buy Void Staff to melt them anyway.

Tips & Tricks to Become an Annie God

  • Flash + R Combo: The classic Flash + Tibbers engage can turn a fight instantly.
  • Stack Passive Wisely: Keep an eye on your passive stacks. A 4-stack stun combo is game-changing.
  • Use Tibbers for Vision: Drop Tibbers into bushes to check for enemies.
  • Bait Out Enemy Abilities: Walk up pretending to engage, but save Tibbers for the right moment.

Final Thoughts

Annie is a terrifying burst mage that rewards patience and smart positioning. Whether you’re stunning enemies with surprise Tibbers drops or deleting squishies in a single rotation, playing Annie is pure fire! Master her, and you’ll be climbing the ranked ladder in no time.

🔥 Now go forth, summon Tibbers, and burn your enemies to the ground! 🔥

Hextech Chests Are Back, Champion Prices Are Dropping, and Riot is Actually Listening?!

Hextech Chests Are Back, Champion Prices Are Dropping, and Riot is Actually Listening?!

More details on our latest Dev Update about Hextech Chests, getting champs, and more!

Hey Summoners,

Big news coming our way in League of Legends patch 25.05, and for once, it’s actually GOOD news! Riot is making some major changes that are bringing back some fan-favorite features while tweaking things we’ve been frustrated with for a while. Let’s break it down in a way that doesn’t sound like a corporate memo.

🎁 Hextech Chests: The Return of the Loot!

Remember when opening Hextech Chests felt exciting instead of like you were collecting 500 Orange Essence one shard at a time? Well, Riot heard us and is bringing them back! Now, you can earn up to ten Hextech Chests (with keys) per act—eight from the free Battle Pass and two from the Honor system.

This replaces the free Battle Pass skin and that weird Mystery Epic or Lower Skin (which, let’s be honest, usually just gave you something you’d never use). Also, key fragments are a thing of the past! If you had a bunch of them saved up, they’re getting rounded up to full keys. Riot actually giving us something instead of taking it away? Who are they and what have they done with the old Riot?

Here’s what you can expect from these chests:

Content TypeDrop Rate
Skin Shard50%
Champion Shard25%
Emote Permanent10%
Ward Skin Shard + 150 OE11.5%
Summoner Icon + 150 OE3.5%
Bonus Drops
– 10 Mythic Essence3.6%
– Bonus Chest + Key10%

TL;DR – More loot, better rewards, and we get to open up to 60 chests per year. I’ll take it!

💰 Champion Prices? Slashed in Half!

If you’re still sitting on a mountain of Blue Essence because everything you want costs an absurd amount, great news—every single champion’s BE price is being cut in half! This is happening in patch 25.05, making it much easier to fill out your roster and try out new picks without grinding forever.

Now, maybe I can finally afford some of those champs I only play once in an ARAM and then forget about. (Looking at you, Yorick.)

🎭 Exalted Skins & Battle Pass Tweaks

Riot’s new Exalted skin line is already hitting a bit of a speed bump. Sahn Uzal Mordekaiser is getting delayed because it wasn’t quite hitting the mark, and future Exalted skins will have more development time. This is probably a good thing—better to get a polished skin than something half-baked.

Also, some tweaks to the Battle Pass: instead of giving us two skins, Riot is swapping one of them for 25 Mythic Essence. Personally, I’d rather have some extra flexibility with my Mythic Essence than get stuck with a skin I don’t want, so I’m okay with this one.

🔥 More Updates You Should Know About

  • Clash is back to a monthly schedule – Finally, more structured competitive play!
  • “Your Shop” returns in patch 25.06 – Time to gamble on whether I get skins I actually like.
  • Blue Essence Emporium opens in patch 25.07 – Time to dump all that BE on icons and chromas I’ll never use!

Final Thoughts – Riot Actually Listened!

This patch feels like Riot is finally listening to the community and making changes that benefit players. Free loot? Champion prices cut in half? More customization options? I’m here for it.

What do you all think? Stoked about the return of Hextech Chests? Got a mountain of BE ready to spend? Let me know in the comments!

See you on the Rift!
